110 Stories
Type: Non-Fiction
Channel: TLC
Length: 1 Episode X 60 Minutes
First-hand accounts.
110 Stories is the heartfelt and harrowing true tale of survivors and
families of those lost in the World Trade Center disaster of September
11, 2001. But 110 Stories, rather than report the events, is first hand,
intimate accounts utilizing works from the September 11 Photo Project.
From a nurse, who went down to help for six hours and stayed for six
days to an executive assistant who ran from the 34th floor when the
plane hit, these are the unvarnished stories of the terrible events
that unfolded, told by the people who lived them.
“Cable's non-news channels launched into 9/11 frenzy, even the
Game Show Network. The most compelling programs were on TLC, which,
last night, as the networks continued their wall-to-wall coverage, presented
a series of eloquent documentaries: "110 Stories," "Still
Riding: Rescue Company New York," "Babies Of 9/11" and
"Here Is New York" were remarkable.”
